Please Note: Dr. Alexis practices compassionately and authentically as Long Island's Only Veterinarian with formal training in End-of-Life Veterinary Care (CHPV/CAETA). Due to the fact that she does operate completely alone and spends many hours driving, contacting her by phone is the best way to reach her and to have some of your biggest concerns addressed. Availability is always provided within the voicemail, but please note that due to unpredictable phone call volumes, availability is also based on the timing and location of previous scheduled appointments throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

Dr. Alexis is unavailable by phone and unavailable for appointments
from Wednesday afternoons until Friday Mornings.
Dr. Alexis is a sole practitioner and she thanks you in advance for your patience. Her voicemail does include detailed introductory information until she is able to personally return your call.
Due to the delicate timing of this type of appointment and in order to be able to assist families with more critical situations, Dr. Alexis does not book out more than 7-10 days in advance.
If Dr. Alexis is assisting a family, you will immediately receive her voicemail. Please leave a voicemail and
she will contact you as soon as possible.
PLEASE NOTE THAT MOST CALL BACKS DUE TAKE PLACE LATE INTO THE EVENING AND MAY TAKE UP TO A FULL 24 HOURS FOR A RETURN, BUT DR. ALEXIS WILL PERSONALLY CALL YOU BACK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO THAT YOUR FAMILY CAN RECEIVE THE SAME PERSONAL ATTENTION AND CARE.

on a first come first serve basis.
Therefore it is recommended that you contact us prior to your desired appointment day and time
to inquire about availability for the week.

Dr. Alexis does her absolute best to accommodate as many families as possible. We ask for your understanding as Covid Safety Protocols have significantly limited Dr. Alexis' schedule and availability.
